How it works

Built around the reply,
not just the reminder

Follow-ups that adjust when customers reply, drafts ready for your approval, and clear next steps on every invoice.

01

Connect your invoices

Sync with Xero and instantly see what’s overdue, what’s at risk, and what needs attention — without touching a spreadsheet.

02

Follow-ups that read the room

When a customer replies, asks for more time, or goes quiet — the next message adjusts automatically. You only step in when they need a real person.

03

Stay in control

Every draft is visible before it sends. You approve when needed. Nothing goes out without context.

Built for the trades

Not sitting at a desk? Neither is TabNudge.

Plumbers, electricians, builders, and landscapers aren’t chasing emails all day. TabNudge runs the follow-up in the background — and only pulls you in when the customer needs a real conversation.

Hey — can we split this over two payments? Half now, half end of month?

Hi, thanks for getting back to us — splitting works fine. Send the first half by Friday and the remainder by the 30th and we’re good.

How it reads the reply

How does it know what to say?

TabNudge uses a language model to read each reply and draft a response that matches the situation. If your customer asks to split the payment, your draft proposes a split. If they say “paid yesterday, sorry,” your draft thanks them and asks for the receipt. If they go quiet, the next nudge stays light.

You always see your draft before it sends. The model handles the reading and writing. You handle the judgement.

FAQ

Common questions

The things tradies and bookkeepers ask before they sign up. Straight answers, no waffle.

Will my customers know it’s automated?

Not unless you tell them. Drafts are written in your tone (tradie, professional, or firm) from your email address, and you approve every send. They read like you wrote them — because functionally, you did.

What happens when your customer replies something unexpected?

TabNudge reads the reply, pauses the sequence, and drafts a response that matches what they said. If they ask to split the payment, your draft proposes a split. If they say it’s already paid, your draft asks for the receipt. You see every draft before it sends — nothing goes out without your approval.

Can you edit drafts before they send?

Yes. Every draft is editable. Approve as-is, tweak the wording, or rewrite it completely. TabNudge does the heavy lifting; you keep the final word.

What if you want to stop chasing a specific customer?

One click pauses the sequence for that invoice or that customer. TabNudge also pauses automatically when a reply comes in, when the invoice is marked paid in Xero, or when an email bounces. It knows when to stop.

How long does setup take?

Under 5 minutes. Connect Xero, see your overdue queue, pick your tone, add a card to start your 14-day trial. Your first draft is ready before you’ve finished your coffee. You won’t be charged until day 15 — and you can cancel anytime before then.

Where is my data stored?

Your invoice data, customer details, and reply content are stored in AWS Sydney via Supabase. Application processing runs in the same Sydney region. The only exception: when TabNudge drafts a response, the relevant invoice context and reply text are sent to our AI provider for drafting and returned immediately. TabNudge does not train AI models on your data. Everything else stays in Sydney.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export everything from your dashboard before canceling. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate, then permanently deleted. Xero and Gmail connections are revoked immediately on cancel.

Who can see my data inside TabNudge?

Only you and any team members you invite. Our team can access account data only when you raise a support ticket and only to resolve that specific issue — logged and auditable. We don’t browse customer accounts.

Is TabNudge GDPR / Privacy Act compliant?

Yes. TabNudge complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and Australian Privacy Act 1988. We have a data processing agreement available on request for bookkeepers and businesses that need one.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancel anytime from your dashboard, no questions asked. Your data stays yours — export it whenever. And if TabNudge doesn’t pay for itself in your first 30 days, get a full refund — no questions.
